Ode to the Mother's in my life

What else could I be talking about today besides Mothers? But I have had more than my fair share of amazing Mothers in my life. My own Mom (of course), Grandmas, aunts, sisters, and Sister-in-laws: Here's to all of you!

My Mom and Dad playing around with us on Long Beach WA

Ward Christmas party 2014; it was 'whoville" themed so I couldn't resist the urge to wear a bow tie, cause "bow ties are cool"

My Mom staying up late with a naughty Tiegan. Bragging time! Whenever we are together, my Mom always volunteers to stay up late with my kids when I need it, takes them in the mornings so I can sleep in, and more often than not, if my kids are being fussy in the night, she is right there to do what she can to help. My Mom is awesome!

Who doesn't love this amazing woman known to me as Grandma, She is down right amazing!

My Mom has an adventurous spirit and joined us for the "ash kicker 5k" spring 2014

And I can't forget Daniel's Mom, Carmen. We love her sooo much! We never get to spend enough time with her and she has always, ALWAYS been so good to us!

Again, I love my Grandma sooooooo much! She is such an inspiration! I love you Grandma! Grandma gave me and Daniel the loan we needed to buy our first car. We were poorer than dirt and paying out thousands of dollars for our schooling, so she gave us the deal of the century and we were able to get a car that took us from WA to KS and then some! Thank you Grandma!

Aunt Hez, Aunt Danny and Grandma. Wow! Such beautiful women and I have been blessed enough to have these Pillars of faith be there throughout my childhood! Aunt Danny has always had something warm and home made ready for me to eat, whether it  was after traipsing through the woods or traveling all day, she has always welcomed me in with a hug and a hot meal, I love you Aunt Danny! Aunt Heather always has something she is doing for others- ALWAYS. Cutting wood for someone so they can be warm for the winter, taking in someone else's kid so they can have a place to stay, or wrapping gifts for my Mom cause that's where my Dad has me send all of her gifts ;) Aunt Heather is a true testimony for me about serving others- I love you Aunt Hez!

Here are three Bowman women near and dear to my heart; Aunt Lula, Grandma Bowman, and Carmen. Daniel and I have always been welcomed in by these women, even at obscenely early hours, Thank you guys, I love you so much!

Aunt Hez building a bridge for Grandma. What you don't see in the picture is that nearly everyone else quit working already and where playing games.

Here's Aunt Tammy (lower left corner) another stalwart woman of faith that has always been there

Sister-in-law Kathleen (red shirt) Her attention to her children puts mine to shame; She is constantly giving something up for the sake of her children, I love you Kathleen!

here's another picture of Grandma Bowman with one of the sets of great grandchildren. Wilma has always kept her home open to us, We love spending time with her and never get enough of it, I love you Wilma!

More of my Mom and her adventurous spirit; Snowmobiling with my Dad- I love you Mom!

Carmen always makes grandkid time a priority. This is Carmen and Jada playing instruments at the kids science center in Topeka. Ok, more bragging: When Jada was a newborn, she was a beastly little thing with a horrendous scream for a cry. Carmen would take Jada and play a variety of instruments, entertaining her long enough for me to take a nice shower and maybe take a nap! Thank you Carmen- I love you!

Daniel, James, Jada, and Jessica; Jessica is so good about getting at Jada and Tiegan's level to play with them and she takes interest in what they're saying. Not to mention she can handle James and Daniel at their goofiest ;) I love you Jessica

Here's another of Aunt Tammy; My girls love to spend time at Aunt Tammy's playing with Emily and seeing the cows and chickens. This picture is from New Year's Day 2015. Daniel and Uncle Kelly share a birthday and this was the activity they decided they wanted to do. My ice skating skills are pathetic to while I was trying to keep my feet underneath me, Tammy took over teaching Jada how to ice skate (she did better than me) and that has definitely become a high-light in Jada's life-thanks Aunt Tammy, I love you!

Here's my Mom enjoying an aquarium with Jada, my kids love their Grandma to bits!

And my last picture of the evening is of my Sister, Chelsea making sure that my children don't kill themselves in the hot tub, while I sat high and dry on the deck, refusing to get in ;) Chelsea has always been so great with any kids but especially mine, they love their Aunt Chelsea B. I love you Chels!

There are so many more of you that I need to mention, but can't find the pictures of you right now (they are lost somewhere on my computer- I suspect Gabe is the one that hid them) But here's a quick shout out to you all and I promise I'll find those pics and give you the credit you deserve! Aunt Kass, I never get to see you enough! Remember the time I got to go to school with you? I loved it! I felt so grown-up as a 4th graded :) Aunt Colleen, you are such a pillar of faith and I doubt I've ever told you what an example are to me! Aunt Moneta, you are always so happy and have let Daniel and I pop in to see you when ever we are in AZ, which is not often enough. I'm always so impressed at the loving relationship you have with your daughters and daughter-in-laws! Aunt Julie, your tea parties are some of the highlights of my childhood! I am a first-hand witness of all the hard work you put into each and every one of those parties! Aunt Jill, my closest neighbor all of my childhood, you were also my YW leader and I treasure the one-on-one talks that we got to have, and the time you caught all of us younger girl cousin's skinny dipping in your pool, well thanks for handling that so well ;) hahaha good times! Aunt Merline, you are always busy doing something, like feeding the ENTIRE Lanier Family! But instead of choosing something easy like hot dogs, you made a family favorite- Navajo Tacos! I think everybody can agree those are way better than hot dogs! Lynnette Bowman- from the first time we met, you and I have always been able to get right into conversations about... what ever! You are so good about keeping us up to date on the going-ons in your family. Sabrina Bowman, thank you for housing Daniel and I on our very, very long road trips from KS to WA and visa-versa. And of course my sister Jaci- for 6+ years you have been my go to babysitter and my girls LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!

And of course to all the cousins, and cousins, and MORE COUSINS! Wow there are so many of you! Your faith, your trials and your stories of motherhood keep me sane :) Thank you! I love you guys!

And to all my Friends out there! Keep sharing your stories, they too keep me sane :) You are all such examples to me, from those of you who home school to those of you work/ go to school while still playing the roll of 'mommy'- wow ladies! To those of you who take your kids hiking, biking, road tripping, to those of you who craft, and read, a (my personal favorite) nerd out with your kids, Thank you. all. I love you guys!

Scripture thought

Hello Folks! Long time no write- again. Good heavens I am bad at this blogging/journal stuff. Any way, on to today's post:

Do you ever read something and the whole time you're just like "wow! oooooo! uh-huh!" that was me this morning. Let me go back a bit.

I have been trying really, REALLY hard to revamp my personal scripture study. Emphasis on the study part. Casually reading a scripture here and there is what I've always considered my "personal scripture study", but I'm finding out it's not what I need. What I feel the need for is more in depth, eye-opening and heart rendering scripture study. My last 7 callings have all been Primary callings, but don't get me wrong, I enjoy it all and I'm now getting the hang of teaching Primary, it's taken 7 years though ;) So while I'm really beginning to hit my stride in Primary teaching styles, I lack the adult level discussions on gospel topics. Ergo the "in depth, eye-opening and heart rendering scripture study". So I'm posting this to help deepen that depth, Make sense?

Ok, back to the present. Today I was reading Luke 12. let me just say "WOW!" Lots of purple (today's marker color of choice)

As a reminder, in Luke 12, Christ is on a roll with his teaching, which also means he is making no efforts to hide His disgust with the presiding authorities of the time. So He begins by saying "Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy." Ouch. Way to sugar coat it, right? Ok let's focus on the  word "leaven" the reference at the bottom of page in the LDS King James version tells us to go to the topical guide, but I gotta admit, I usually find the TG a bit overwhelming, On to the Bible dictionary! "Anything in cooking that produces fermentation...(pg 723)" alright, pretty well known, but look at the bottom of the paragraph, we are referred to Matt 13:33 where a leaven is compared to "the inward growth and influence of the church upon the earth." So basically, Christ is calling the Pharisees a terrible influence over the people of God. He then tells His disciples that anything done in secret will be known to all. Does that frighten anyone else? Not just the good things we do in secret, but EVERYTHING!

I'm going to skip my next several marks and go to verses 29-32 and paraphrase "Neither be ye doubtful of mind...your Father knoweth ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the things of the kingdom of God; and all these shall be added unto you... it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." This fits so well with what's going on in our lives right now it's astounding! We are house hunting and it's so hard! How do you find that one house that meets all of your "needs"?! Size, Location to school and work, plus get it all on budget? What if you get stuck with a house that will be a money pit? How on earth are you suppose to know how you and your family AND guest will function in said house?! But these scripture say clear as day "your Father knoweth ye have need of these things" phew... what a relief, right? My Heavenly Father knows exactly what I need, even if when I try to explain what my "needs" are I find myself babbling like an idiot. But that's not the only info Christ gives in these scriptures, we are told exactly what we need to do, "seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." This fits so well into the FHE (family home evening) lesson I've been trying to get across to my children (and myself) to put God first and then all the little things in life will fit in so well.

We colored rice and put spoonfuls into a jar as we named all the good things in life we like to do (go to the beach, visit grandparents, play games with daddy, eat ice cream- you get the idea) then I had rocks I labeled with gospel principles (pray, read scriptures, go to church etc.- Primary answers) that we tried to fit in after we did our "rice activities". But we showed the girls that if we do all the "rice activities" the big "rocks of the Gospel" don't fit in the jar. Then we reversed it, "rocks of the gospel" then "rice activities" and found out when we put the gospel first, everything fits. So Luke 12:31 just reemphasized this for me.

Are you with me still? Ok, onto verse 34: "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Self explanatory, right? Hahaha is anyone else thinking this would be the cutest quote to hang in a pirate themed room?! Yup, I want one. Ok, treasure, the Lord, my Savior, my family, but then I have to ask myself, is there anything that I treasure that is less than stellar? hmmm.....

Ok, verse 37: "blessed are those servants whom the Lord when he cometh shall find WATCHING...." Do any of  you remember a time when your Mom or Dad give you a task to complete before they return and you decided to put it off until the last second? Only for them to come back sooner than expected and you're just lounging about? And of course you get busted for being a lazy-good-for-nothing-twit. Yeah, we shouldn't do that with the Lord. It WILL NOT work out as well as it did with your parents....

Verse 40: "Be ye therefore ready also: for the son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not." So remember your parents coming home before you're done with your job(s)? Again, you shouldn't do that with the Lord... which leads into the next verse; 43 "Blessed is the servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so DOING". see the difference between 37 and 43? Ok, now imagine you're a parent (a real stretch for some of you I know) and you come home after whatever event and you had given chore assignments out to your children. the first thing you see is the little ones in the window watching and waiting for your return (heart melting, right?) then you walk in to see the older children still working hard to complete their given task. (more heart melting feelings) What a difference it would be to come home and see nothings been done and every one's being lazy?! See the relation between the scriptures and our lives?

And the last one I'll cover today (I promise) verse 48: "For unto whomsoever much is given of him shall much be required." So let me leave these thoughts: Yes, count your blessing, they are many! For the Lord is great and "it is [His] good pleasure to give you His kingdom (Luke 12:32)" But remember you are not done after you receive the blessings. Blessings are a tool given to you so that you can better serve in the kingdom of God.

Busy, busy, busy Bowmans

Hello all! I have a Son! Yeah for being a tiny person making factory :) Gabriel Peter Bowman was born March 6, 2014 weighing in at a whopping 8 lbs 13 oz and was 22 in long. Everything went so well with his birth that we got to go home early!!! That did NOT happen with the girls. For both of them we did an extra FIVE DAYS! So the fact that we got to go home early was a miracle :)

Gabe is such a good baby! It's weird having a baby that follows normal baby protocol. Any fussiness is typical baby needs; hungry, dirty diaper, sleepy, wants cuddle time... typical baby. Most of his angry moods are due to gas- that boy can fart and burp like a grown man.... He also get real stinky real fast. And I'm not talking diaper stink, just stinky boy stink. The girls were never this smelly. I guess I got allot to learn about boys.

You'd think that a new born would be enough of an adventure. Not for us apparently. 2 weeks after Gabe was born Daniel went snowboarding with the scouts on White Pass. They left Friday night and sometime Saturday mid afternoon I get a call from the YM presidents saying that Daniel  had gotten hurt and that he would be OK. He then told me that they think Daniel had a concussion, but he remembered me and the kids and our names, and the pass word to his phone :) (cause we all know that's what's important).

So the story goes like this; Daniel was going down the mountain feelin' pretty fly when a tree jumped up at him. Some guy comes down the mountain and spotted Daniel sitting on the ground and noticed a bit of red in the snow. (I have no idea where the scouts were at this point....) The guy asked Daniel if he needed help and Daniel responded with something intelligent like "yeah, maybe". So Daniel got to ride the pretty red sled down to the first aid station. I don't know how long it was before the rest of his party figured out what happened, but the other leaders there were made up of a Doctor, a OT and a Dentist, so with the medical schooling between the three of them they accurately diagnosed Daniel with a concussion and a broken collar bone. And instead of helping with the first aid the scouts kept on boarding :)

Daniel came home and was pretty much a humorless lump on a log with no appetite for a week. He then went into surgery a week later and was back to his normal self, at least his appetite was back to normal :) Weird if you think about it, that he'd feel better after having a titanium plate bolted to his clavicle... He's been home and on short term disability since then and has another week left. Then he'll meet with his surgeon again to get the green light and he'll be back to work. Not that any of it has been as easy as it sounds. My one-armed husband isn't up to helping as much as he was before hand, but it's getting better. Changing diapers and picking up babies is easier with 2 working upper limbs. And I know every one of you will be soooo surprised that the insurance company has been making life difficult. Between my bills, Gabe's bills and Daniel's bills, they seem to think that we haven't been covered for the last 2 years by them. Like all of a sudden we have insurance cards that says they have to cover us.... stupid. Can I say that I think insurance companies are far more corrupt than any government?! Just barely though...

But I can't say that despite corrupt *&%$*#@ being in charge of things they shouldn't be, that it's been all bad. With Daniel being home we've been able to transition from man-on-man to zone defense rather easily. It's been nice to have Daniel supervise the girls while Gabe and I nap if needed, or to be able to leave the girls with him while Gabe and I go to appointments or grocery shopping. But I have to say that the best part of Daniel not being able to work has been our family adventures we've been able to do, that would not have been possible other wise.

The first being a week in Lincoln City, OR. My parents decided they wanted a fun adventure for spring break. So we hurried and found a beach house that would fit all of us and headed down there. But not before Chelsea, Zach and Maggie joined us! Zach came for an extended weekend and Chelsea and Maggie were able to stay for the whole time! We had so much fun playing in the sand, enjoying the hot tub, watching Grandma try her hand at glass blowing, exploring tide pools and eating all sorts of  baked goodies :)

After a long week of fun in the sand, sun and wind, we went our separate ways. It took a week of recovering and resting before we were actually functioning at our normal-ish levels. Then we celebrated Easter with just us, nothin' fancy but the girls' dresses :) It was a special day, Jada actually let me curl her hair hahaha!

A couple days after Easter we squished the whole family in the car and drove "straight on through to Sydney!" just kidding, we went to Colville :)  We were just going to spend a few days up there, then we remembered that Great-Grandma's birthday was soon, so we extended our stay to celebrate Great-Grandma's (we call her Super Grandma) 85th birthday. Cause of the extra days we got to enjoy hiking, even Gabe, playing with cousins that involved treasure hunts through the woods, "big fires" that fascinated a certain 2 year old who takes after Super Grandma and her love of fires, and of course the big birthday bash celebrating 85 years of the most incredible woman ever to walk the planet. :)

Now we're home again. It's always sad to leave family behind, but nice to get back to our own beds :) So that's us, busy, busy, busy with BBB (baby boy Bowman) and broken bones. Hope the Lord is blessing you all as much as he is blessing us!

Welcome 2014, let's get this year rollin'

Wow, It's been an awful long time since I last wrote.... which if I remember correctly, is how I started my last post... oh well. Turns out I blog like I write in my journal.....not very often.

I figured I should update ya'll before too long, when FB and Blogger will be bombarded with pictures of cute soon-to-be-here Bowman!

This picture is on some hike somewhere nearby......

Daniel is enjoying work (for the most part, there always those days and those people...) I understand that his ability to graze ALL DAY LONG is a source of bafflement and enjoyment to his co-workers :) One of the ladies keeps telling him that one day it will all catch up to him. I doubt it ever will. Daniel still has the energy of a Labrador puppy.... it's a blessing, and a curse. Daniel is now using some of that energy to teach the teachers corom, and be the scout something or other leader. I will do my best not to rant about how much I HATE the scouting program..... it's taking a bit of restraint...

Daniel is a huge help when it comes to dealing with the girls. I have had to learn that his ways of 'dealing' with them is different than how I deal with them. For example, I think bed time is quiet time. no yelling and playing and annoying noises as we get ready for bed. Daniel, on the other hand, sees no problem with pulling out what ever obnoxious noise making instruments suits his fancy and serenading the girls to bed..... I have to shut my self in my room at these times and 'find my happy place' :) But I can't complain too much since Daniel is the one doing the dishes and the laundry and scrubbing the tub right now. And he kindly ignores those days when I just can't bring myself to do anything, including making dinner. In conclusion, Daniel may be a noise making hyper-active puppy, but I still got myself one of the better guys walking around in this world :) xoxoxox

Tiegan was NOT enjoying the family walk to the park. She eventually fell asleep like that :)

Tiegan is well into the terrible-twos. She is a cuddly snuggle bug and more than happy to be Jada's shadow. However there are times where I wish I could put her in a box and ship to my Mom. Jada's birthday was one of those days. She has gotten into a routine of taking one or two bites of what ever food is put in front of her and then destroying it by any means possible. So for Jada's Birthday breakfast, as per request, we had pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. I thought that Tiegan would eat that and then some- I was wrong. She took a single bite and then proceeded to make her pancakes, whipped cream, strawberries, and juice into an unappetizing soup.... after finger painting for a few seconds, she dumped it on the floor.....

I wish that was the end of her shenanigans that day...... When I was trying to get the cupcakes all made, Tiegan found some food coloring.... Honestly I don't know where she found it because I had not gotten to that stage in the cupcake process yet. Anyway, Jada comes running into the kitchen telling me that Tiegan was coloring on the ottoman - again. (the first time that day was with chalk and cleaned right off). so I run in there and she is squeezing the blue food coloring out in decorative little designs all over my brown ottoman. Of course she got in trouble and I put her to bed immediately, then came back to her destructive art. However, food coloring stains are one I had yet to tackle, I had no idea what to do. So I cried. And cried some more, then I called my Mom, still crying a little, asking her if she knew what to do. She did. My clever Mom googled it :) hahah then she talked me through, step by step to get that horrific stain out. It worked thank goodness..... Tiegan was pretty good after that until Jada started opening up presents and well.... she managed to break/pull apart/ ruin 4 of the gifts that I had made for Jada......

Jada with her favorite person in the world, Aunt Jaci. We were waiting at the finish of one of Daniel's races, this one was the Sandblaster- a 5k obstacle course.

Jada is doing quite well. She did preschool for a month or so in the fall and LOVED IT! They were small short classes and she thrived in that environment. We have yet to sign her up again, but we're thinking maybe dance, cause she found out that some other girls her age are in dance classes. That'll have to wait till after the baby though. She is now in CTR4 at church and after a rough first Sunday of the year, she loves going. She was a little upset that day that she wasn't going with her old teacher, and in typical Jada fashion refused to go into the classroom. Bless her teachers' hearts cause they moved out into the hallway with her and gave the lesson there :) In Jada's book, being 5 means being a big girl with all the big girls privileges, but none of the responsibilities. Her reasoning skills are uncanny, but unfortunately for her my name is Mom. There is allot of arguing between the two of us about cleaning up after herself or getting dressed for the day. Jada is still as picky about food as ever, but she now eats scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes (not together of course- gross) these two things alone are incredible improvements! Admittedly, her diet is as much centered on fruit, yogurt and bread as it ever was. That girl goes through 4-6 bunches of bananas, 3 loaves of bread and I'm-too-lazy-to-measure-how-much yogurt a week! I guess there are worse things for a 5 year old to live off of....

Jada is, despite our bickering's, my best helper. How ever she is sassy enough to remind me several times a day, as she's picking things off the floor for me, that I am too fat to pick up these things right now. She also gets a sick pleasure of reminding me how slow I am, and has compared me to a mamma whale on more than one occasion. I can't actually argue any of these points and find myself agreeing with her or simply telling her shut up (using as kind of terms as I can of course :)

Daniel never actually gets nap time, cause when he stops, it just gives the girls time to catch up :)

I am keeping busy by waddling around, attempting to keep up with the perpetual mess. I also keep busy with my calling a Primary President... No one's asked for me to be released yet (including myself) so I must be doing alright. That or no one else wants to take my place :) I have to say though, I thought that the kids would be the ones to complicate this calling. That's not the case- it's the adults. And in most cases (not all) it's adults that have little to nothing to do with primary! What's up with that?

I am getting close to the end of this pregnancy, 4 more appointments! hurrah! I have been blessed yet again with an easy pregnancy, no sickness, no bed rest, just getting bigger and bigger :) We're excited to have a boy, and have decided that his name will be Gabriel Peter Bowman. Of course we'll call him Gabe :) Daniel's already nick-named him gabby-gummy-Gabe-the babe :) hahaha! A few night back, I was sleeping surprisingly soundly. Daniel on the other hand was continuously disturbed by some shaking of the bed. I guess he got up, thinking it was me. Turns out it wasn't. Baby was moving so much that it was shaking the bed! hahaha Daniel went and slept on the guest bed :) I had no idea any of this was happening and slept right through it all :)

All in all, we have started this year running. Hopefully we can keep up this pace for the remainder of the year, cause it looks to be busy, busy, busy!

A bit of my own family history

Well folks it's been a long time since I last posted anything... And since this is the first post of the year, It's gonna be a long one. But don't worry, it's mostly pictures ;)

This year has been very busy, full of family get-together's and things that only grown-us have to deal with (why is it that we always ask what people want to be when they grow up? screw growing up.... My childhood was perfect! And i do mean that btw, and I defy any who would say other wise!)

My last post was done right in the middle of the rainy season here on the coast, well it turns out there's a good reason to endure all that soggy-no-fun rain. Look at these amazing blooms! Every single one is from my yard and I wish you could all come a visit just to enjoy them!

I mentioned the family get-together's. Besides Jada's 4th birthday, Tiegan's 1st birthday and spring breaks, the biggest by far was the get-together for my Grandpa Laniers funeral. I really enjoyed the whole thing, is that wrong? It was fun to see family I haven't seen in a while, visit the farm again, and my favorite part, listen to all the Grandpa stories. i was blessed enough to be the one to scan all of the many, MANY Lanier slides and I found some amazing pictures, all of which I am so grateful to have! I held it together for the most part of the funeral, there were 2 things that made me loose it though. One of course was the slide show that Jen Lanier made, I wish I was tech savvy enough to post it, it's amazing and fits Grandpa's life so perfectly! She put it to the "So God made a Farmer" speech given by Paul Harvey  (here's a good link with a bit of back ground http://www.oregonffa.com/LiveToServe/Blog/SoGodMadeFarmer )
The second thing that made me loose it was when my uncle Ben was giving the 'Life Sketch'  talk, he talked about my Grandpa and his brother who had died at a young age. I was sitting next to one of my Mom's cousins, when he leaned over to another family member and and said something about Duane (Grandpa) and Gus (brother) having a 'rip-snortin' good time when they finally got back together.  Of course I was a mess and then all of the grand-kids went up to sing a song right after that. I guess that's just how it goes :)

Daniel complains that he always looks like a single parent in the pictures so here's one of us at Multnumah Falls in OR. Can I just say that we spent several hours in the car before this?

The rest of the pictures are either Lanier slides or pictures that Chelsea scanned. All of them make my heart happy....

Growing up, we spent EVERY vacation down in CO on the farm, and while it's not the green mountains that I love, the farm is still near and dear to me. I find allot of the Lanier slides hauntingly beautiful and so perfect....

Grandma during a trip to Yellow Stone

I love this picture because my Mom looks like a rebellious teenager that doesn't want to be hanging out with her family. haha The irony is not lost on me, my Mom and I bumped heads on more than one occasion over the same thing when I was a teenager.

Another hauntingly beautiful, perfect picture....

My Mom goofing off and posing on a motorcycle

My cousins, Deanna, Lana and Stephanie at Lowery Ruins, CO

Ok, I have no idea who the guys is in this picture, my Mom told me this was at the swimming hole at Bradfield Bridge.  But this picture, and the next few tell a story..... It must have been a hot day,

Because a fully dressed man was tempted to go for a float......

.....only it looks like he floated a little too far.... :) the whole scenario makes me happy!

OK. The rest of these picture are of me as a child. Why would I post so many of myself? Why the heck not?! I was ADORABLE!

Me, Chelsea, and Tabby playing in the leaves

Chelsea and I wore matching outfits... allot..... but we were dang cute!

And once in a while, Whitley got to be all matchy-matchy with us :)

yup, dang cute!

I love this picture, mostly because of Chelsea's fit she's throwing here!

We were in 'Jazz It Up' dance at the time, we knew how to pose

Chelsea and I enjoying our favorite Colorado past time, posing for pictures! lol nope, 4-Wheelin'!

Mom, Chelsea and I sledding. For all my friends and family who sucker into the cheap sleds at walmart, they don't even compare to a GT Racer! Perfect for being pulled behind on a snowmobile!

Pants are just annoying when your playing in the mud

This totally looks like Tiegan to me....

bahahaha

My cousin Zack came to visit and got to go to the Thanksgiving party at school with me!

Like I said, a perfect childhood....

My Baptism day

Me and Johnny taking a nap

These pictures are feeding my vanity :)

Another one of me and Tabby. I was born on Tabby's 5th birthday, we're good buddies

I have no idea what I was doing, but clearly my Mom's wedding hat and my training panties went together....

I really loved that hat

what a cute pink winter bundle I was ;)

A Birthday party for me and Tabby

I loved that blanket so much that I ended up taking a pair of scissors to it :/ I guess Jada got her scissor fascination from me....

look at that carrot hair!

Cool baby!

Me and Johnny having a good time!

Well friends I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do. Stay tuned for more, I am now working my way through the McCombs slides :)
